The Truth
This project aims to narrate a story to the audience in the way of audio and bring the audience into the scenes of story by sound elements.
The story begins with a son asking his father to tell a story about his parents as the bedtime story. The bedtime story will be separated as five parts that are the first meet in café, falling in love, getting married, pregnancy and accident. Tom first met his wife – Alex in a café, he saw a beautiful girl then brought up the courage to strike up. Soon, they started dating and fell in love with each other. Then they got married and had their son – little Alex, everything looked like perfect and happy. After the bedtime story, Tom walks down stairs and tells his wife that their son asked a story about mom and dad. Then his wife says: “what did you tell him?”. Tom says: “Not the truth”. Then the flash back brings Tom back to the time that he and Alex drove out and had a car crash.
The open ending makes the whole story become more dramatic and attractive because the audience will be curious about what the truth is. Such as, did Alex really die? Or Is this mom little Alex’s step mother?
